XINGJI WPC slat wall panels give a home office, podcast corner or streaming studio the warm vertical rhythm of timber battens without the cost, weight or upkeep of solid wood. Each board carries four deep ribs across a 219 mm face, so a wall reads as a run of separate battens rather than a flat sheet, and the depth between the ribs breaks up a large blank surface behind a desk or camera.
The board is a wood-plastic composite: wood flour bonded in a polymer matrix, which keeps it dimensionally stable when a room swings between heated and unheated, and lets it be wiped clean rather than oiled. Boards are fixed with stainless screws to timber or aluminium battens, with the screw heads set inside the groove and covered by the next board, so the finished wall shows no visible fixing.
The same board is used on office feature walls, reception backdrops, home cinema walls and hospitality interiors. Standard colours are held in stock for sample orders, and custom colour matching, cut-to-size lengths and OEM packing are available for project orders.

| 1. Measure and set out | Mark the wall and decide the board direction. Vertical ribs suit desk and camera backdrops; horizontal runs suit long corridors. |
| 2. Fix battens | Fix timber or aluminium battens at 400-600 mm centres, packed to bring the wall into plane. |
| 3. Set the first board | Start from a corner or a door reveal, check level, and screw through the groove edge into the batten. |
| 4. Interlock and fix | Push the next board home so the tongue covers the screw heads, then repeat along the run. |
| 5. Cut around services | Cut sockets and switches with a template, and finish the opening with a trim or a shadow gap. |
| 6. Finish the edges | Close the top, bottom and end returns with matching trim or a mitred return for a clean line. |

1. Is the 219 mm board one piece with four ribs, or four separate battens?
One extruded board carries four ribs across its 219 mm face. It is installed as a single board per course, which is faster than setting individual battens and keeps the rib spacing even.
2. Will the wall look like real timber?
The face is embossed in register with a wood-grain print and finished matte, so at normal viewing distance it reads as stained timber. Up close the surface is more uniform than solid wood, which is the trade-off for the stability and the lower cost.
3. Can I fix it to plasterboard without battens?
Only where the plasterboard is sound and the fixings land in studs. For a flat, continuous wall we recommend battens: they bring the wall into plane and give the screws something solid to bite into.
4. How do I hide cables behind a desk wall?
Set the battens out to leave a 25-30 mm service void behind the boards, run cables in that void, and bring them out through a cut-out finished with a brush plate or a trim.
5. Does it help with echo in a small room?
The ribbed face and the void behind the boards break up a flat hard surface, which reduces the sharp slap echo in a small room. It is not a substitute for purpose-made acoustic panels where a measured reduction is required.
6. Is it suitable for a bathroom or a kitchen?
The board is waterproof and wipe-clean, so splash zones are fine. Keep it away from direct heat sources such as a hob or a stove flue.
7. What colours are available?
Eight standard colours are held for sample and stock orders, and custom colour matching is available for project volumes.
8. Can you supply cut-to-size lengths?
Yes. Standard stock lengths ship immediately; cut-to-size lengths and pre-drilled boards are produced to order.
XINGJI has produced wood-plastic and stone-plastic wall panels since 2016, with extrusion, embossing, coating and packing under one roof. Orders are quoted with the profile, colour and packing confirmed in writing before production, and OEM/ODM work is supported from sample to container.
