SPC wall boards are commonly supplied at 2440 mm long. In a room with a 2.8 m ceiling that leaves a horizontal joint around waist or eye height, and on a marble or stone print that joint is exactly where the eye goes first. This panel is produced at 1200 x 2800 mm so it can run from skirting to ceiling in one piece.

The core is a stone plastic composite rigid board, so the panel stays flat on the wall, does not absorb water and does not swell. The face is a marble or stone print protected by a UV cured layer, and the edges carry a click lock profile so panels join without glue and without visible fixings.

Installation

1. Check the wall is flat and dry; fix battens where the wall is uneven, leaving a ventilated cavity.
2. Measure the floor-to-ceiling height and confirm the panel length before cutting; leave 5-8 mm clearance at floor and ceiling.
3. Start at a corner with the first panel plumb and fix through the joint flange into the batten.
4. Engage the click lock joint of the next panel and press home; keep vertical joints tight and aligned.
5. Cut around sockets and columns with a fine-tooth saw; seal the cut edge where required.
6. Finish with matching edge and corner trims, then wipe the surface clean.

On a printed marble surface, a horizontal joint breaks the vein pattern and is the first thing a designer objects to. A 2440 mm board in a 2800 mm room leaves a visible line across the wall.
